Description: | The Leinster Re-enactment Society exists to promote re-enactment as a method of interpreting the past. We use re-enactment of events to illustrate scenes from the military, social, commercial and everyday lives of the people of Early Mediaeval Ireland. This involves protrayal of not only the Irish of the 11th to the 14th centuries, but also the Viking, Welsh, and Norman people who settled here. |
