Piggs peake is a very interesting little winery. Since winemaker Steve Langham took the reins in 2003 it has rapidly become known as one of the wineries to watch in Australia. Huon Hooke describes it as “one of the most talked about young boutiques in the Hunter” and for good reason with fellow reviewers like Franz Scheurer and James Halliday ranking wines like Semillon, Cabernet Merlot and Zinfandel in the top few that Australia produces.
