Welcome to the Lost Valley Winery Website Lost Valley Winery is one of Australia’s most respected cool-climate boutique wineries, growing 4 varieties in Victoria’s High Country, just below the snow line at 430 metres on the slopes of Mt. Tallarook. In this pristine environment, without power or pollution, we create excellent wines including Australia’s only Cortese, a rare northern-Italian varietal described by Jenni Port, one of Australia’s leading wine writers as one of the “Top Ten Cult Wines of Australia†Along with the white Cortese we also make a Riesling, a very “moreish†Merlot and a spicy cool climate Shiraz. From our vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula we produce a stunning Sauvignon Blanc.
