Coliban Valley Wines | Winery, Vineyard - Heathcote Region Central Victoria Join The Coliban Valley Wines Mailing List Proudly grown and made in the Heathcote wine region With the ambition to produce full flavoured red wines, Greg and Helen Miles began their search for a vineyard site. In 1997 they established a 4 hectare vineyard at Metcalfe, in the Heathcote wine region, south of Redesdale. It was planted predominantly with Shiraz, and some Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The property offers a gentle north facing slope on well drained, granitic soil and has an ideal microclimate, all of which ensures that some of the finest wines of the region are grown at Coliban Valley Vineyard.
