When climbing with WRC, you are choosing to learn about an exciting and rapidly growing sport with a company that believes top quality instruction requires guides to be experienced, not only as rock climbers, but also as teachers, outdoor companions and safety experts. All Wanaka Rock Climbing guides and instructors are either NZOIA (New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Association) certified or hold an overseas equivalent standard. Many of our guides also belong to the NZMGA (NZ Mountain Guides Association). You will be provided with a wealth of knowledge on all of our trips, not only technical climbing skills, but also local history, geology, flora and fauna.
