Description: The two year restoration of a 1963 Pearson Triton found wasting away in a boatyard, the launching in May 2001 and cruising logs from then.
Pearson Triton #381 Glissando | Restoring, Maintaining, and Cruising a Plastic Classic on the Coast of Maine , a 1963 Pearson Triton 28' sloop, hull # 381. We found her rotting in a field at an island boatyard in August, 1999, and spent much of the next two years gutting and rebuilding her. Our early plans for the restoration were hopelessly naive, and the scope of the project grew exponentially: the more we did, the more we wanted to do.
