Description: Founded in 1896, it is one of the oldest established organizations at the University. It is also one of the most active, with sailing seven days a week in season.
Photos Courtesy of Rob Migliaccio The Brown Sailing Team wrapped up another terrific year finishing 4th overall out of 18 teams at the Gill/College Sailing Dinghy National Championship, May 28-30, in St. Pete, FL. Tommy Fink '13, Ashley Noble '13, and Kristin Altreuter '14 won B-division for the Robert M. Allen Jr. Trophy. The Bears had an impressive 2013 College Sailing Nationals, finishing 4th at Women's Semifinals, 9th at Women's Nationals, 3rd at Team Race Nationals and 4th at Dinghy Nationals.
