IAWA News | International Aviation Womens Association International Aviation Womens Association President's Message - January 2014 In 1998, I had already been in the industry for nine years when I decided to join IAWA and attended my first IAWA conference in Ireland. Â It was at that conference that I witnessed the value and importance of professionally accomplished women coming together to meet one another, and share experiences. So, I jumped in to support IAWA with both feet, and have never looked back. Â In 1999, I joined the Board, and have rotated through almost every job and position. This year I am excited to take the gavel, as your President.
