Description: RC model airplane club information, advice, contacts, field map, and pictures.
The Sale Model Flying Club has been flying radio controlled model aircraft on the existing site since 1974. Our members consist of all age groups from 8 to 75(at the last count!) who fly various types of models including trainers, scale models, aerobatic aircraft, float planes, vintage and helicopters. We operate a comprehensive training scheme for novices which is internationally recognised and have registered examiners who can take candidates for their ‘A’ or 'B' proficiency certificates. These examiners are also able to examine candidates from other clubs. Prospective members and visitors from other clubs are always welcome to enjoy our facilities by prior arrangement (when a club member is on site). Instruction for novices is free at all times under the supervision of our qualified flying instructors.
