KITT vs. Herbie @ WWWF Grudge Match In the pre-dawn hours over the outskirts of Las Vegas, the crews are busily preparing their vehicles and making last minute changes for the start of the 1st Annual WWWF Road Rally (tm). There is a tangible tension in the air as the opponents size each other up and plan strategy for the upcoming 1000-mile Las Vegas to San Lucas endurance ordeal. The course begins on flat desert highways from Vegas to Tijuana. From Tijuana it continues south through Mexico to the southern tip of the Baja along Mexico's treacherous "roads" until it finishes in the city of San Lucas.
