Fossils Car Club | Jackson, NJ 08527 Â Well, our official name is "The Fossils of South Jersey, Inc.". The club was founded in the early 80's by eight fellows attending a car show in a group. When asked the name of their club, one of them responded by saying "we're not a club, just a bunch of old Fossils' and that was the beginning of what is now one of the most admired and respected clubs in New Jersey. We are registered as a non-profit organization with the local, state and federal governments. We donate thousands of dollars each year to many charities, deserving projects and programs, such as: a scholarship at the vocational school system preferably to go to a student of the automotive trade; municipal and county food banks; Reindancer Therapudic Riding Academy, Toys for Tots, The Providance House just name a few.
