Shikishima Bonsai Club, Pleasant Hill, California, East Bay, Contra Costa Shikishima Bonsai Club was established over forty years ago to promote the ancient art of bonsai. We are located in Pleasant Hill, CA and comprised of members from throughout the greater East San Francisco Bay Area. We are dedicated to teaching bonsai techniques and each of our monthly meetings is almost entirely workshop time with our Sensei, Dennis Makishima where each member can get expert help and advice for their own trees. No prior experience is needed as we offer support for hobbyists of all levels. We invite anyone interested in the bonsai art form to attend a meeting and discover what our club can offer.
