Our practice was established in the State Theatre Building in 1932 and has included well known optometrists, Penhryn Thomas (contact lens pioneer) 1942-1968 and Professor Charles McMonnies (contact lens specialist, researcher) 1968 -2007. Dr Gavin Boneham (PhD) joined in 1997 and now owns and runs the practice.
