Welcome to the Skye Mountain Rescue Team website. We are a group of 35 volunteers who provide assistance to walkers and climbers on the Isle of Skye on the west coast of Scotland. Our area of operations is mainly in the Cuillin mountains of Skye but we also assist the police and coastguard in searches along the Skye coast or other parts of the island. Also occasionally we are asked to assist other mountain rescue teams on the Scottish mainland.
