But there are those moments in the middle of a long search, when every bone in your body aches. You haven't eaten much more than a cracker for hours and the water you have with you is about gone. These are the times when many people would stop and say "enough". But we don't, we keep going and going. To find that missing person, before the weather gets them. To bring that little guy home to his parents. Even, God forbid, to bring a body home so the family can have some closure. We are not muscle men or women. We are not robots who could care less about real people. We are your neighbors, your business partners, your friends. We volunteer our time so that others can live. You can too!
