Description: Provide a volunteer rescue service for walkers and climbers in the North-East. Includes team profile and history, and call-out information. Scotland.
AMRT is based in Westhill, in the North East of Scotland. We provide a volunteer rescue service for walkers, climbers and others who enjoy outdoor activities in the Cairngorms, and the hills of lower Donside and Deeside. AMRT is funded through a combination of our own fundraising activities and those of Aberdeen and St. John Mountain Rescue Association, who are a registered charity and to whom we are greatly indebted.
