A severe asthmatic from the age of two I had to live dependant on prescribed drugs, the side effects of which left me spaced out and trembling. Despite this medication I was hospitalized on various occasions with extremely severe attacks, on one occasion I was confined to an oxygen tent. My schooling was affected as I had to attend physiotherapy twice a week and this coupled with regular asthma attacks limited my attendance at school dramatically.
