Description: Conducts research and undertakes policy development work designed to advance tobacco control efforts in Australia and internationally. This site provides information about the centre and its research programs as well as links to important repositories of knowledge on tobacco control both in Australia and Internationally. It is designed for use by researchers, potential researchers, policy makers and advocates.
VicHealth Centre for Tobacco Control - Home Page We seek extension of the existing PBS nicotine patch listing (for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) to other disadvantaged Australians. The International Tobacco Control Policy Evaluation Project collaboration is a major international effort to systematically evaluate the impact of tobacco control policies. The core of the component studies of the collaboration consist of cohort or panel surveys and product studies.
