Alcohol and Addiction Studies at Brown University Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies CAAS celebrated its 30th anniversary on Sept.20-21, 2013 The Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies (CAAS) celebrated its 30th year of promoting the identification, prevention, and effective treatment of alcohol and other drug use problems in our society. To honor this occasion, we hosted a celebration to honor faculty, trainees, alumnae, and other friends of CAAS September 20-22. On September 20, we held an Alumnae Homecoming Banquet for faculty, current and past trainees, and major friends of CAAS. At this event, Dr. David Lewis described the founding of CAAS, now available in our video archive. [
