Pidro is a Finnish card game for four persons - pair against pair. It is related to the games Pitch, Pedro, Set Back and Cinch widely played in North America, and can be seen as a member of the family. Apparently Pedro mutated into Pidro late in the 19th century when the game was brought to the Ostrobothnia region in Finland by either returning emigrants or seamen.
