The Armchair Empire - Playstation 2 Previews: Jak II Be notified of site updates. Sign-up for the Newsletter sent out twice weekly. Let's face it - 3D platformers are kids games. Spyro? Crash? Blinx? No Eminem loving thirteen year old wants to be anywhere near those guys. So, in an effort to snag adolescents away from their Grant Theft Autos and Mortal Kombats, Naughty Dog has decided to darken the atmosphere of Jak II. That's not to say our elf friend will be dismembering everything in sight, but design is much more mature than the usual googly eyed stuffed animals that we're used to controlling in this genre.
