Description: Seeks to answer the question, "Is Linux right for the marketplace?"
IS LINUX RIGHT FOR THE MARKETPLACE? CAN LINUX DEVELOP AN OFFICE SUITE SUITABLE FOR BUSINESS? IS THERE AN EASY WAY TO DO WORD PROCESSING ON LINUX? a golden opportunity or counter-cultural sensation? I am trying to determine the potentials of Linux in Business. Linux is a newcomer to the operating system (OS) world, and it has the potential to being a great harbinger of change in the Business world. But paradoxically, due to its counter-cultural nature, it might be percieved as too radical to be adopted by Business, in which case Microsoft will win. I believe that it is too early to tell and that it is down to the wire. Which side will win? This is what I am struggling to determine.
