Before I begin, I must make a clarification. This is an article about why am not a Java programmer, one person's reasons and thoughts. It's not about why are not a Java programmer and it's not about why Perl is better than Java. It is also not about why Java is the way it is, I (mostly) understand Sun's design decisions in doing things the way they've done them. But knowing why something is the way it is doesn't make it any less irritating. [1]
