FishCart: an Open Source E-Commerce Solution , in use since January 1998, was an early PHP based e-commerce system that proved itself in many online stores. Originally written in PHP version 2 and updated for some of the features of PHP versions 3 and 4, its internal architecture is such that it is no longer a viable contender in current object oriented models. It was good while it lasted; thanks to all who collaborated and made it what it became.
