Description: Full-potential linearised augmented-planewave (FP-LAPW) Fortran 90 code. Written mainly at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz as a milestone of the EXCITING EU Research and Training Network, the code is designed to be as developer friendly as possible so that new developments in the field of density functional theory (DFT) can be added quickly and reliably. The code is freely available under the GNU General Public License.
Development of the current edition of the EXCITING FP-LAPW code has ended. Instead, code development will continue with two branches: the Notification of new releases, features and bugs in the Elk code will be sent to both the old EXCITING and new Elk mailing lists.
