Open Cubic Player original home page is located at and was written by the Cubic Team. It first appeared around december 1994 as a binary-only freeware. It was one of the best module-players if you ask me personally. It had support for many soundcards and module-formats. But as windows grew more and more popular, and users demanding for GUI software, the popularity started to fall off and the project became more or less dead. At some point the sourcecode was opened up for the public under the GNU Public License in a hope that other users might find the code usefull, and perhaps use it for something.
