WHAT's NEW! — ACM SIGMOD Official Website Student teams from degree granting institutions are invited to compete in the annual SIGMOD programming contest. This year's task is to construct a social network analysis system. Submissions will be judged on their end-to-end execution time for a variety of queries on a large data set. Top finalists will be invited to present their solutions at SIGMOD 2014 in Snowbird, Utah, USA, where the winning team will be awarded a prize of $5,000 USD (generously donated by Microsoft).
