Copper theft stopped trains for hours on Sweden's Stockholm-Malmö main line April 3rd. Another theft in March had seventy trains cancelled. The government is now trying to stop thefts by requiring the buyer of copper to declare the sales tax. This is currently the responsibility of the seller. See also
