Welcome to Global Maritime Ministries We are happy to announce that Global Fest 2013 was our most successful fundraiser to date! We would like to thank the Global Fest Committee - Mary Ellen Logan (Chair), Dee Clubb, Marsha Dyess, Gay O’Hara, Rose Roberts, Nancy Russell, and Pat Trembley for the months of planning and execution of the event. We would also like to thank our Corporate Sponsors: Ameriprise Financial, Associated Terminals, Bourgeois Bennett, Brian Harris Autoplex of Slidell, Dodson, Hooks & Frederick, EDG Consulting Engineers, Equitas Capital Advisors, LLC, Maritime Endeavors, Payroll RX, LLC, and the Port of New Orleans. Chuck Mutz (auctioneer) and our jazz group (Greg Finch, Dr. Craig Price, Sammy Sabine, Sean Toler, Dr. Jason Waggoner, and Lauren Waggoner) kept the auction upbeat. Our entertainment centered around the “Nifty Fifties†and we would like to thank Robert Comeaux, John Frady, Leah Mulholland and Tapestry (Carol Aultman - Director, Billie Comeaux, Marsha Dyess, Pam Dyess, Connie Harlan, Judy Kite, Judy Robertson, Jean Stevens, and Lori Weaver) for their wonderful performances. Once again, we would like to thank First Baptist Church New Orleans for hosting the event. A big thank you also goes to those who donated items, purchased items, and volunteered to make Global Fest 2013 a huge success!
