Description: ATIS is a membership organization that provides the tools necessary for the industry to identify standards, guidelines and operating procedures that make the interoperability of existing and emerging telecommunications products and services possible.
ATIS and the SIP Forum today announced the formation of a Joint Task Force to fully specify an IP communications network-to-network interface (NNI) between North American service providers. The increasing programmability of network infrastructure creates one of the ICT industry’s most significant transitions. A new ATIS analysis assesses the opportunities this change brings service providers — as well as the work required to fully realize the potential value in these opportunities.
