SkyWords Media - A Different Kind of Radio Network In 1991, SkyWords Media started out as an aerial advertising company. Founded by brothers, (and pilots) Ed and Frank Torres. While flying high over the city of Toronto, the Torres brothers started reporting major accidents and closures to radio stations in the GTA. Over the years, they expanded SkyWords into Canada’s largest independent radio network. SkyWords Media provides a full range of radio content services from traffic, business and weather to marine radio reports.
