Flushaway: The first and only flushable pads and liners When growing up we were all taught what was safe to flush and what we should not flush down the toilet. Even though it seemed the logical place to put them, sanitary napkins and liners could block the system. But the only alternative was to place them in the trash and have them transported to incineration or landfills where they could possibly remain for hundreds of years.
