The tradition goes back to the year 1913 when Max Hermann started with the first Teddy Bear in village Neufang near Sonneberg / Thuringia. The company was founded in 1920 in Sonneberg. Today the company is run by the Dr. Ursula and Martin-J. Hermann, the grandchildren of the founder. They produce nearly 400 different Teddy Bear styles, most of them in limited editions.
