Registered Architect, New York City | Nick Ladd Welcome. My name is Nick Ladd. I hope this web site is a fitting introduction to who I am as an aspiring architect. Eight Projects began with a simple idea. Select eight projects from my design portfolio that I could use to tell the story of what I value in architecture, who I am as a design professional, and what my current skill set holds. These projects represent work both old and recent, solo endeavors and those which I have worked on as part of a team, real-world and theoretical, and of various scales and typologies. When writing this 'about me' page, I was tempted to fill it with euphemisms about being a dedicated and loyal employee, working well in teams, and possessing extraordinary proclivities for detail. While I believe these are fair descriptions of myself, I hope instead that the work I have completed will speak to my abilities as a designer.
