Description: Society information, list of section officers, activity details, and newsletters.
The South Texas Section supports Chemical Engineering programs in colleges and universities in Texas. The April Golf Outing supports funds for all the student sections. We also support student sections with speakers, organizing tours, mentoring and interfacing with the industry. The International Polyolefins Conference funds scholarships and equipment for the same programs: University of Houston, Texas A&M, Texas State University, Texas Tech, University of North Texas, Lamar University, Baylor University. and Texas State Technical College . The Section has endowed scholarships at 6 universities.
