Description: Have you ever noticed an unusual business name and wondered about the story behind it? What about Amazon? Starbucks? Zillow? I get that question a lot about Oak Moon Photography. I knew I wanted to use a unique business name that had personal meaning for me when I opened my wedding photography studio. My husband is also a professional wedding photographer and his name means ‘oak tree’ in Hebrew. My name means ‘goddess of the moon’ in Greek mythology. So it seemed only natural to use the two together and name the business Oak Moon Photography.
Oak Moon Photography is a boutique studio catering exclusively to the bride who expects nothing less than truly distinctive wedding photography. Together with my husband, we are wedding photographers creating timeless wedding photographs, including engagement, bridal, and day after wedding portraiture in McKinney and throughout the Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, area.
