Mehosh's Professional Photography Portfolio In 2007 I was contacted by Robert Kastori, founder of Stars & Stripes Western Wear in Reutlingen, Germany. He had seen the work I had done, documenting cattle ranching on the west coast of California, a project I began in 2002 and he wanted to know if I'd be interested in shooting his next catalog. We've been working together every year since. Having long time relationships with ranchers in the area, provided us with unlimited options when it came to choosing locations. Models were secured from Los Angeles and my first assistant, who speaks fluent German, helped translate when communication became difficult. Although the days are long, this ranks as one of my favorite assignments.
