We were selling a lot of chickens and eggs to our Mexican and Guatemalan customers. We had a few pygmy goats around for pets and weed eaters and our customers began buying our wethers from us.  They began asking us for “bigger Chivos†so we started looking around and doing some research on the internet and found the new breed of meat goat that had just been imported into the US from South Africa in 1993, the Boer Meat Goats.
