| Description: | Halfmann Red Angus is a family owned and operated ranch located in Miles, Texas. The family farm started with Hereford and stocker cattle. Clifford and Dennis Halfmann bought the first Red Angus cows in 1966, and started the Tanglewood-Line from a red Bardolimere bull. In 1968, Glen Halfmann raised the Red Angus steer who was Reserve Champion Carcass of all breeds at the San Antonio Exposition and Fair. Having accomplished this, Glen began intensely breeding Red Angus cattle. |
