Bill Hornaday makes Contemporary Sculpture with hot forged sculptural steel , ranging in size from sculptural vessels to architectural columns. Bill Hornaday makes contemporary sculpture with hot forged steel and has developed a unique process to apply durable patinas. The sculptures range in size from table-top size to full sized sculptures for use in a corpate setting or as garden sculpture. Recently, Hornaday started to focus on architectural columns, that can be forged to great hight, as details to an architectural design and under specified conditions, as weight bearing columns. His work is inspired by the female form and further informed by various apprenticeships with metal forging artisans across the world.
