March 10-14 - John Poon’s  5-Day Painting Workshop The 5-day workshop covers the foundations of painting.  Value, color, design, brushwork are all thoroughly discussed from a practical perspective and reinforced with image after image, demonstrations, and your own painting – a lot of your own painting.  John has gathered the information he teaches from greats like Edgar Payne and John Carlson.  His class is practical, usable, and organized – and it’s like drinking from a fire hose.  There is so much valuable, soul-of-the-painter-changing knowledge to be gleaned here that while the class is as approachable for the beginner as for the established professional, students often repeat the class because they know after one go, the richness of Art has been deepened for them, and the journey just got to be a lot more fun.  Maximum 16 students.  Classes take place in The Greenbrier, usually starting at 9AM.  The workshop fee is
