The real voyage of discovery is not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes. Has it really been two months since I've posted? Life has been busy lately. I'm finding that oil painting doesn't agree with busy lives. So I have been experimenting with the pastel medium, and learning how it operates. Pastel is great for when you may only have 20-30 minutes to paint. But I miss being able to mix the exact color I want. Now I know why pastelists have so many pastels!Â
