is a fast paced comedy set in a hotel suite in 1930’s Cleveland. Tito Merelli, world-famous tenor, is brought to the Cleveland Grand Opera Company by its manager, Saunders, for a one-night only performance of Otello. After a brawl with his wife, however, Tito takes a double dose of medication and passes out. Max, Saunders assistant, thinking Tito is dead takes the place of Tito for the performance. What ensues: mistaken identities, scantily clad women, and a happy ending for all!
