ACTA Theater – Trussville's Community Theater ——————————————————————————————— – February 14, 15, 16, and 21, 22, 23 , by Noel Coward, which has been a smash comedy hit of the London and Broadway stages, over and over again since 1941. Fussy, cantankerous, albeit successful, novelist Charles Condomine,, whose first wife Elvira has been dead for seven years, has been reasonably happy with his second wife Ruth, that is, until he invited the eccentric Madame Arcati, a local medium, to conduct a seance in their home. The Condomines are joined for the evening by Dr. George Bradman and his wife Violet, although both couples are highly skeptical, and Charles is merely collecting material for his next book. Pandemonium reigns when Elvira is summoned from the Other Side, as Charles is the only one to whom she is visible and audible!
