Formed in 1985, we are a mixed side dedicated to performing the more absorbing and complex morris dances to be found in the traditional style of Lancashire and the Cheshire Plain. The name "Ramrugge" is taken from an old spelling of "Ramridge", an extinct hamlet and mansion which once existed close to our original base in Wheathampstead, Herts.
