Another favorite haunt for Cutthroats be Cap'n Crash's tavern which is located behind the warehouse on the main dock (near the berthed Galleon). Many a pirate flocked to this 'ere tavern to listen to Crash's yarns of life on the ocean wave. The story of Crash's arrival to Tortuga is a grand one in itself, for the Cap'n liked a drink 'o two and was frequently drunk whilst barking out orders to his motley crew. Needless to say, one fateful misty September morning, back in '33, he sailed his hardy Sloop into Tortuga bay and ended up crashing it into some treacherous rocks close to the east beach - hence from that time on, Cap'n Crash earned his new name!
