Welcome to The Flute Network Web site!   ***************************************************************************** OK - technically, it's "March" already -- far enough in to this year 2014 to no longer be writing "2013" on things, but also not where most of us are securely oriented in the mix-up of all the "new" coming our way these days..... I mean really, the weather alone continues to keep much of the country worn out (between polar vortexes and all that cold and snow - and then the rain bringing down hillsides in southern California - plus the lack of snow pack in the mountains that we're all going to need for comfortable water supply this coming summer --- there's room for serious "yikes!" all around!) If ever there were a time for the renewing power of music to come to the front, I would say this could be it! Keep practicing, keep your eyes open for opportunities to brighten someones day with your song (OK, flute), and let your own heart remain open to the light and love that surely surrounds you even now! Yes, we can't have rainbows without rain, and there really can be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - we can be that for each other. 'Cause it really is still true (you know...): no matter what, we really are all in this together!
