Builders of fine pipe organs for Worship, School, Concert Hall and Residence Chara Aurora Cooper Haas Pipe Organ We are pleased to announce the commissioning of a new pipe organ project for the Bryn Athyn Cathedral. We will be restoring and joining two vintage E.M. Skinner pipe organs from the late 1920s into a single instrument and provide several new stops to complete the specification. Both organs, opus 574 and opus 682, will enjoy new structure, expression enclosures, winding and electrical systems. Original wind chests, pipes, regulators and tremulants will be retained. All work will be done in the style of the original builder. Also there will be new cases and a new console, all highly decorative in the style of this Ralph Adams Cram building. Completion will be in the later half of 2014. Watch here for more news of this exciting project.
