Description: Explanations for learning to call simple touches in change ringing including Call Changes, Plain Bob, Grandsire, Stedman and Surprise for Doubles, Minor, Triples and Major.
These bell ringing pages deal with learning to call and conduct touches for change ringing on church bells which are hung on full circle wheels. My intention is that this site explains simply and fully how to begin to call touches for church bell ringing. These pages were compiled as I learnt to call touches and quarter peals myself. I wanted to write them before I took for granted the lessons I had learnt and the knowledge I had acquired.
