The Gladewater Saturday Opry - Home The Gladewater Saturday Night Opry The Gladewater Opry is a two hour stage show. The show is housed in the historical "Cozy Theater", in Gladewater, Texas, (circa 1936). In the early fifties, according to the local community, young artists such as Elvis, competed in contests held at the theater. Today, the Opry provides a family atmosphere for entertainers of all ages, musicians and songwriters, to perform. The Opry books over 500 people a year from around the Ark-La-Tex and surrounding areas. Specialty show favorites include the "50's Show", the "Legends Show", the "Hee Haw Show", and the "Christmas Show".
